Un certo momento ho visto il convento di questa nuova Congregazione. Mentre giravo e visitavo tutto, all'improvviso ho visto un gruppo di bambini, la cui età si aggirava dai cinque agli undici anni. Appena mi videro, mi circondarono e cominciarono a gridare ad alta voce: « Difendici dal male » e mi fecero entrare nella cappella che c’era in quel convento. Quando entrai nella cappella, vidi Gesù martoriato. Gesù guardò benevolmente verso di me e mi disse che veniva “offeso gravemente dai fanciulli. Tu difendili dal male!”. Da quel momento prego per i fanciulli. Ma sento che la sola preghiera non basta.
