Allora pregai il Signore per una certa anima, affinché le concedesse la grazia per la lotta e le togliesse quella prova. « Come chiedi, così sarà fatto, ma il suo merito non diminuirà ». Grande fu la gioia della mia anima vedendo quanto Dio è buono e misericordioso; Dio dà tutto quello che Gli chiediamo con fiducia.
